What does the dispute process look like?

Each dispute is carefully processed and investigated, with the resolution timeline depending on factors such as the dispute amount, the merchant’s response time, and the complexity of the investigation. 

Dispute Timeline

  • File the Claim – You can initiate a dispute through the app or by contacting our Support team.  Please note that disputes can only be filed for fully settled transactions. If your transaction is still pending, please wait for it to settle before initiating a dispute.
  • Investigation – Our team thoroughly reviews all available information related to your claim.
  • Provisional Credit – Depending on the dispute type, we may issue a temporary credit to your account if additional time is needed for the investigation.  For more information on provisional credits, check out our article here.
  • Merchant Review – If necessary, we’ll reach out to the merchant for more details. The merchant may provide evidence, accept the claim, or issue a refund.
  • Final Determination – Once a decision is made, we’ll notify you via the app or the email on file.
