Current Max is a subscription that gives you enhanced earning, saving, and support benefits on top of your regular Current account — including bonus points, a boosted savings rate, and priority customer support.
What's included in my Current Max subscription?
Benefit eligibility may depend on factors such as your state, and not all benefits are available to all users. Some of our benefits include:
- More Points – Earn an additional 2 points per dollar spent on eligible categories with your Build Card
- Increased Savings Boost – Get an additional 2% on your existing Boost Bonus rate, up to $6,000 total
- Priority Support – Get faster access to a live agent when you call Support
For the most up-to-date list of your Current Max benefits, check the Current app.
When will I be charged for Current Max?
Current Max renews monthly on the same date you started your subscription. For example, if you signed up on June 23, your next Subscription Fee will be charged on July 23. Your next billing date is shown on your Current Max subscription management screen. If a billing date doesn't occur in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you'll be billed on the last day of that month instead.
Do I need to keep a direct deposit to stay enrolled?
No. Current Max is available to all members in good standing. That said, we recommend pairing it with an Eligible Payroll Deposit of $200+ in the preceding 35-day period to get the most value out of your membership.
How do I cancel Current Max?
You can cancel anytime in the app:
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the subscription management screen
- Tap "Cancel your subscription" and follow the prompts
Can I re-enroll after canceling?
Yes — just tap the "Current Max" banner in the Account tab and follow the prompts to re-enroll.
