When you return an item to a merchant in person or online, your refund will be processed by the merchant and sent back to your card. It can take 1-5 business days for the refund to be reflected in your Current Account.
A canceled transaction from Uber™ or reversed transfer from Cash App™ or Venmo™ will result in an authorization hold being placed on your card. These generally take 7-10 business days to expire from the authorizing merchant, as well.
Authorization holds and refunds from hotels or car rental services can take up to 30 calendar days to expire.
