Linking Your Child to Your Current Account
After linking your bank account to Current, you will then be prompted to link your child. This ensures both you and your child can interact simultaneously within the app. Don’t worry! Your child won’t have access to your bank account or the ability to move funds from your Current wallet. There are several ways to begin this process.
- Has your child already downloaded the app and created an account? Awesome! Once they login your teen will be prompted inside the app to scan a QR Code from your phone in order to link to your accounts.
- Trying to find the code as a parent? No worries! The QR code is located in two distinct places. You can find it on the app if you click the pink banner at the top or your screen that says “Give Your Teen Access to Current”. The QR code is also located on the website if you log into www.Current.com. It will be located on the left hand side of the screen that says “Attention: Give Your Teen Access to Current.
Note : if your child has not created an account they can do so after scanning QR code to link to the parent.
